Between Past and Present

This concept is designed in the style of Living Architecture, a newly developed approach introduced by MWS.

The concept manifests as an architectural painting brought to life, where elements of construction blend seamlessly with the essence of the past and the nostalgia of memories. It tells the story of a person whose life was shaped between an old homeland and a new reality   between the winds of hope pushing him toward the future and the dream of spring forever lingering in his heart.

The design journey begins at the villa   s entrance, where a tranquil stream flows gently, like a delicate thread of longing, guiding visitors from the threshold to the side garden before merging into a pool that symbolizes the Gulf. The water, leading softly toward the garden, evokes distant memories of days spent by the riverbanks, feet submerged in the cool water, lost in the serenity of the moment. A simple wooden bench near the stream revives those cherished moments, transforming the space into a sanctuary of reflection and self-discovery   where past and present converge in a warm embrace.

Concrete arms extend gently from the villa   s structure, embracing the garden and pool with quiet harmony, offering them a secluded, intimate retreat away from prying eyes. They create a secret world filled with tranquility and peace, seamlessly blending with the vast sea stretching into the horizon. These arms are not mere architectural elements; they are living witnesses that tenderly narrate stories of the past, embodying the resilience of deep-rooted heritage and the challenges that have shaped the spirit of this place. Sunlight delicately filters through the openings, casting soft shadows upon an ancient olive tree standing tall at the heart of the garden   a silent observer of time, its roots deep within the earth, much like unforgettable memories.

This centuries-old tree, encased by concrete, is the heart of the structure. The solid walls embrace it as the past cradles the human soul   a profound interplay between permanence and life itself. Here, materials and architectural elements merge to form a living testament to a story deeply rooted in the land, yet always looking toward the horizon.

Along the edges of the Gulf-inspired pool, the water branches out like the lifeblood flowing through the sands of time, weaving an oasis of serenity and comfort in the heart of the Arabian desert. From this oasis, palm trees rise high into the sky, guardians of the earth below, completing a scene that embraces both dreams and nostalgia. With unwavering pride, this setting marks the final chapter of the place   s narrative-where water meets sand, where the past embraces the present, and where a profound sense of belonging and peace takes shape.

This architectural masterpiece tells a poetic tale of nostalgia, rooted in a newly pioneered approach known as Living Architecture, where every element speaks of the past   s rich fragrance and a soul deeply intertwined with its authentic heritage. Here, in this newly crafted space, a bridge is formed between memory and dream, between river and Gulf, between tradition and the future.
